This is the year of Horse (2014), so Chinatown in Singapore are decorated with lots of horse decos. Unfortunately I can’t bring Mia down during night time due to crowd and the lanterns are even nicer after light up.
The CNY market is an annual market before Chinese New Year, usually opens about 2-3 weeks before Chinese New Year itself. The market are full of Chinese New Year food goodies and decorating stuffs for locals to brighten their house.
Mia wish to hold my hand so we won’t get lost in the crowd
Mia
Mia seems to attracted to all those beautiful Chinese long dress (Qi Pao). But they do not have Mia’s sizes….(Okay...Mia I get your hint...but it will be next year)
Along the way you will also found stuffs related to horses….
Mia and the God of fortune
Mia和財神
We did not get much stuff as we already finish our shopping quite a while ago. But got two little decos for Mia which she seems to like it a lot ^_^
Wish everyone have a Happy Chinese New Year.
Beautiful photos! The market looks like something I would like to experience one day. So much to see! ^w^
ReplyDeleteThanks. Although it is not as crowded as HK New Year Market, but it is quite fun to see. On the Chinese New Year Eve countdown there will be firework and firecrackers as well ^_^
